YOUCAN

YOUth with migrant background tackling: CApacity buildiNg

YOUCAN aims to be a reference addressing the drop-out of youths with migrant background. To this end, the project established a well-rounded partnership in terms of skills and experience and partners will visit each other in order to learn and share methodologies and experiences. Additionally, the project will develop results aimed at teachers and trainers working with youth, particularly working with those with a migrant background, towards promoting the social inclusion of their learners and preventing their drop-out.

Target Groups

The project’s target groups are teachers, trainers, researchers, youth workers, and workers in associations for migrants and their children. Additionally the project has migrant youths as its indirect target group.


Products and Outcomes

YOUCAN will have the following results:

  • YOUCAN Best practices publication: A publication with a collection of good practices for dealing with youth school dropout, particularly migrant youth droupout.
  • YOUCAN Toolkit publication: Toolkit concerning project management, particularly projects related to the social inclusion and prevention of school dropout among migrant youth. This Toolkit will also identify diferent sources of financing for similar projects and can be useful even for those working with a different target.
